For Alexandra Davis, 24, it was a case of double trouble – not just one ex-boyfriend’s name tattooed on her leg, but two. As reported in the Herald Sun, she’s decided undergo laser surgery to have the offending gentlemen’s names removed.
I GOT the name of my boyfriend Adam (at the time) on my left leg, when I was about 18. It’s just a rose with his name in a scroll. We were going out for about two years, but we broke up. He wanted me to get it — like we were going to last forever. But it never does. And then I was stupid enough to get (the name of) my next boyfriend on my right leg. This one’s a love heart with his name, Jordan, in the centre, and a scroll. He kind of pressured me into it. He was like, “You’ve got your ex’s name on you” … awkward. So they’re going to get removed. They’re slowly being removed now. I’m not getting the name of my boyfriend now, and he doesn’t like them.
It’s been a painful and costly lesson, so she’s going to keep her other two tattoos, which aren’t posing as big a problem.
I’m not touching them, not for him, not for anyone. There’s a flower, it’s sentimental for my nan who passed away, and one on my back. I’m not getting any more. Never. No more names.
