Victoria’s Herald Sun newspaper recently had a great feature on the tattoo removal business breaking down how laser tattoo removal works and why people get it done.
The piece featured a few stories of average punters, but also a chat with the Veronicas’ Jessica Origliasso, one of the growing band of celebs to use laser tattoo removal surgery.
“People grow and change through their journey in life. As many of you know I started getting tattooed from 18, and I’ve had many of my half sleeve tattoos for 6-9 years, and as much as I’ve loved them, changed them, lives with them, I’ve outgrown it as is.”
Origliasso doesn’t plan to remove her ink entirely, but will “replace it with something that is more relevant”.
“I’m going to document it for anyone interested in the process of tattoo removal, or just for those of you who are tattoo fans as want to see where this leads me,” she wrote. “I’m sure it’s going to hurt like hell, but I’m super excited & ready for new art.”
